This is a good product. The only problem I had was that the replacement air filter included in this kit was taller than the one it replaced forcing me to tamp it a little with a hammer so I could screw the plastic air filter cover back on (ie, the screw wouldnt reach the thread until I tapped down on the filter with a hammer before installing). Other wise this was a great product, saved me a lot of money over having the dealer service my simplicity zt 16 44 riding mower. Overall very pleased.

I’ve ordered this kit three times and overall pleased with quality given the price. However, the fourth kit just arrived with the shorter air filter not designed for the CV490 engine. Poor QC when packing. Now I have to return the whole thing through Amazon or call Stens directly. Disappointing. Probably not the only one this happens to, so be sure to inspect and check the part numbers.

These kits are perfect for my Simplicity Tractor with 14hp Kohler Engine. I appreciate that I have one complete kit containing quality products to keep my Tractor running during its Summer time mow and winter time snow blowing. This is a huge convenience at a very good price.

As with some of the other reviews, My air filter did not fit, even thought it said it was for 11- 16 hp. It was a 1/2" too tall, which would not allow Me to put the plastic cover on. I ended up buy the correct one. Disappointing. Otherwise everything else fit. Can not recommend this kit for that reason.
