This is a well made unit that replaced the 10 year old original that came with my Ariens Snowthrower. It was fairly easy to install and worked properly right out of the box.

I replaced my Ariens OEM disc after 12 years of use with a (Ariens 04743700 don't believe them its a knockoff) and it lasted 2 winters but never really grabbed very well then it fell apart. I have only ran this Stens brand one time but it looks like its better built and it really grabs the friction disc well. I will update if it fails

My older tank of a snowblower, a BOLENS 8hp, 24" 250 lb unit with a differential for ease of turning around, listed this part at $65.00. turns out, this one fits so many different brands (they are listed when researching the part number). A fantastic savings for the exact same part!

This Friction Disk fits my old Bolens model 824 Snowblower, which is 40 years old.The outer and inner diameter is an exact match. The pre-drilled hole pattern is an exact match as well. This unit also fits an Ariens Snowblower as well. It is well made and easy to install.
