I took my time with this replacement. Greases the other side, then I greased this one. It took grease very well, as you can see from the pics attached. Wish I could have used it but a bolt broke while I was installing it. I was not using much force, so I'm guessing a manufacturer defect. Now we wasted a week and I still have to drop this off to return it. Guess I'll go with John Deere now...

I was hesitant to buy a non John Deere part for me Z535M mower but pulled the trigger. This item came in two days, and was a lot easier to install than I anticipated. The best thing is that this spindle works great!Back to having a pristine lawn and I'm a very pleased customer!
