I admit that I'm not a rope expert, but this rope was advertised as a wide range of applications to include tie-down straps. It also gave a MBS rating of 1978 lbs and said to be 6 mm. Check out my photo. I would say this was more like string that was maybe 1.5 mm in diameter. The whole bundle could fit in the palm of my hand, certainly not worth the $16+ I paid.Maybe I got the wrong item, but it looks to be labeled correctly. So weird, everyone else gave great reviews.

I had previously bought this 6mm accessory cord and was very happy with it so I reordered.The new one that arrived was more like a 3mm tent guidline. I returned it.

The package says 6mm cord but it only measured 2mm. I don't trust it in a situation where it needs to support my weight.

As other reviews have said, this is not 6mm rope.
