Everything you need (except the lighter) is in the box, and the correct size pans for the rack.I originally purchased aluminum pans on sale at the store, then just a rack, but the pans are not the correct size. Bad purchase for me. The kit is perfect.

I ordered these as I was hosting a brunch where I needed the food to stay warm for a while. I've never used this kind of apparatus before but have certainly seen it used, and it worked as expected and kept the food warm for hours. One comment I did want to make is this: the description notes that the kit "uses standard sized aluminum pans" - not being too familiar with food service items and what is "standard" in that world, I took that to mean 13"x9" sized aluminum pans. Nope. The aluminum pans for preparing the food were more like 12"x10," which, after a few internet searches, I now believe are "standard" sized pans for this kind of buffet set up.Also, just to clarify what I think was a misunderstanding by another reviewer, the "full" set is a long warming tray and frame, etc. that accomodates 2 of the approx. 12"x10" sized pans. The "half" set appears to be a warming tray and frame, etc. that accomodates just a single 12"x10" pan. I ordered 2 "full" sets but ultimately only needed 3 of the 4 food trays. So I just put the 4th food tray on the warming tray empty along with the one that had food in it (otherwise the water from the warming tray would have steamed up quite a lot and possibly evaporated), and everything was fine.

Note: Chef reviewerI purchased this when I was asked to make arroz con pollo ( rice with chicken) for a friend’s birthday and didn’t have the time to run the local restaurant supply.I was serving 10# of arroz con pollo in this pan.Set up was easy, Sterno was easy to open and light(you will need a lighter)got hot and stayed hot the entire party.I would suggest a sturdier serving utensil than the one supplied, if you are going to be serving something heaving like I was, since it broke for me.Good value for money spent, was sturdy, held up to children and adult, heavy use.

I bought these for an outdoor buffet party.They are a little flimsy, but not so much that they can't be re-used. They hold plenty of food and the sternos worked fine without burning the bottoms. I placed a few slabs of wood beneath the sternos so as not to damage the table beneath.I bought 2 of theseWe had wings in 2 of the containers, corn on the cob and sweet rolls in the othersFolded them up and are ready for the next buffet party!

This was cheap and easy food server. 1st time used , encouraged by a friend. This product was aluminum and to not able to save and use again. Next time I will purchase a reuseable or electric warmer. This product fit my emergent need.

I haven’t used it yet but when I received it, the 3 pans were bent and I had to try and straighten them out. I don’t think when sitting it on a buffet table, it would look to appealling, crunched all up. The photo is after I straightened them the best I could.

We attempted to return this item the same day we received it. It was not large enough for our planned event. Amazon indicated "This item cannot be returned".
