My husband and granddaughter recently slipped climbing into our fiberglass pool. I was advised to use surfboard wax to make the stairs less slippery. First I brushed the steps and then rubbed the surfboard wax on the stairs. Worked beautifully.

The wax is perfect for warmish water, but it is not as cheap as I thought it would be. It costs more or less the same price in any surf shop.
