I got this one because it looked comfortable, and had the length I wanted. Also a good price. It came in, and I did some minor fitting to get it into the hammer head I had (NOT the correct head for this handle), and it's in, secure, and just right. Very nice.

I just put it on my old hammer ask me how it held up in a couple years! Wooden handles are like people they all are a little different, due to their natural environment some are strong and some have flaws which make them weak. Nicely crafted fit well also

Four stars for being a fair -good quality handle sold at a reasonable price. Zero stars for the description or lack there of. This handle IS NOT FOR A CAMPING HATCHET! The eye is backwards and your hatcet blade can only fit backwards. It is for a shingle hammer/hatchet also known as a half-hatchet in some circles. The finish of the eye is rather rough, but usable.

Little thin where the hammer head goes in but I managed. Thicker handle compared to others and a little taller than what I expected but it’s a decent handle none the less.

havent needed the handle as of yet, it was simply listed on amazon for almost 1/2 the price of what i would have to pay at the local tool dealer so i grabbed it for when my handle does break.ive had both the axe handle and the straight handle on my 14 oz framer, and i gotta say i prefere the axe handle

If this is done by design, I don't know why. The axe head end of this product is backwards and if I was to cut it right it would have been useless for any axe head I own.... now I need to by another one and will not buy from Amazon as it will no show a orientation in pictures
