This is a very nice sugar dispenser. The glass is thick, but the metal top is a little thin and has a few sharp edges. I don't know that I would purchase this particular dispenser in the future. I could get a better quality one at a restaurant supply store for less money.

I read where the cover seems flimsy but I really didn't find it that bad. Works great. If this is what you are looking for as far as decor goes then this is just fine.
