Fits great for my 6 year old. Use it when fishing from docks.

I bought this life vest for an 8 year old boy who is 75lbs. It fits as expected and can be easily adjusted. The life vest is made of a better quality material than I was expecting since it was not that expensive. It actually looks, feels, and fits better than ones we tried on in stores such as Dicks and Academy. When buying a life vest, especially for a child, it is important to know what type to buy. I took a picture of some of the pages of the pamphlet that was attached to this life vest to help explain the different types and sizes of life vests. I hope it helps! I chose a Type III vest because we will be in calm, mainly shallow waters, and my child knows how to swim.

My son loves it! Fits great and he loves the way it looks! He can move around a lot more than other ones we've tried. It's adjusts quite a bit so I know we'll get a lot of wear out of it.

Bought this for one of my children to use while out on the boat. My child is 88 lbs and it fits snug. I was worried about my child “slipping out†due to their petite size. My child was out on the water and slipped while launching a small sail boat and was left in the water until they could be pulled from the water back onto the boat. Worked perfectly and so grateful for that. We even attached a whistle on the upper strap so they could access it easily for safety reasons. So if they ever fell overboard they could blow their whistle for rescue (which is better heard than yelling). Definitely recommend.

It’s a great fit with comfort for arm movement! South central Florida is HOT, this vest is not! This is my go to brand for the last 12 years! My kids have literally grown up wearing only this brand of life vest. Most of our time is spent on the ocean, but this vest is great for kayaking, swimming, lazy days on the lake tubing!

The weight range of this jacket is 50-90 pounds. It just fit my 54 pound grandson and obviously has some future usefulness as he grows another 40 pounds. I have a number of $120 PFDs with lots of pockets and reflective stuff but for around twenty bucks, you get your money's worth here. Stohlquist is a well-respected name in PFDs, so they manufactured it well-enough to uphold their reputation; it's U.S. Coastguard approved however the vest doesn't say it's a Class III Flotation Device, though I assume that it is. There are no pockets, no frills. The three adjustment straps at neck, sternum and waist were well-placed for my grandson, so he got a good fit and had fun bobbing around in it. For the price, there's nothing to complain about with this vest, and it's adequate for its intended purpose.

I love this brand of life jackets we have been using them for over 6 years! I have 3 kids and they each have one; the smaller size with the embroidered logo are fabulous however this larger size has the logo and stripped design printed on and after less that a month of use this design is rubbing off and sticking to my sons skin, towels, and boat seats.
