I didn’t know this was a thing until recently and wish I knew about them sooner. This quick drying diatomaceous mat is amazing! We used to have to go through wet bath mat after this first person showers, but even after the 3rd person, this thing is dry! It absorbs water magically and goes away, leaving the next person a dry mat to step on after their shower.It comes with a small sanding piece for when the water stains too much, but in my experience, it takes at least half a year for it to get to that state. Occasionally cleaning it should do the trick. It’s the perfect size and looks nice in the bathroom as well, highly recommended!

I was very happy with the function and the form of this mat. However my Wife was not as impressed as me. It does everything as described and looks great. The problem for my Wife is her elderly mother has to use our walk-in shower due to mobility issues and Mom is scared of slipping. It’s not slippery at all but… we ended up giving it to my brother and he simply loves it. Dries quickly and no mold under it after several months of use. Two thumbs up for me!

I bought this stone mat because my old bathroom mat was hard to clean. This one absorbs water quickly and is very easy to maintain.

The non-slip pads underneath keep the mat in place which prevents sliding. The mat absorbs water well and dries quickly. This allows for easy clean up. I’m extremely happy with the this mat which also works great outside the bathroom. I have placed mine in front of my hot tub and also for at my dog’s water dispenser. These mats are very versatile and practical.

This stone mat works incredibly well. It dries quickly without leaving any marks, so no one has to step on a damp rug. I also really love its deep greay color, and the design has a nice, premium feel to it.

I'm just a normal guy who's spent his entire life with a fluffy bathmat that probably should be cleaned and/or replaced more often. So when I stumbled across a bathmat made of stone and knowing what I know about being wet after a shower, I had to investigate. Not something I'd say I need or something I've even ever wished there was an alternative to, but I like products that last a long time and come from natural materials.When I opened the box, I was still just a little surprised it was hard and flat and, well, somewhat like a rock. But it's also somewhat not like any rock you might be familiar with. It almost has a composite quality to it in subtle roughness and definitely by its light weight. I was also surprised to see sandpaper. Uh oh — I'm guessing this is for a level of maintenance required that I wasn't planning on or ready for. The directions only really mentioned using sandpaper if the mat gets dirty, but I did some more external research and learned that over time it may absorb water more slowly and sandpaper can also restore its original abilities there. Worth noting the mat also comes with a thin anti-skid sheet to put down between the mat and the floor.Ultimately, I got this because I thought it would look nice, and I think it really does. I never considered or cared about the aesthetics of a bath mat before aside from a vague do-I-like-the-color angle before, but there's something classy and elevated about this (I really like the minimalist wave pattern on the one I got). And surprisingly, the few people I mentioned this stone bath mat to in passing were all genuinely interested in my take because many of them had been curious already.So to the curious, it's neat and it works. It sucks the water right off your feet, and it dries remarkably fast. Footprints start to fade the moment you step off, and they've faded into oblivion in just a few minutes. And the price is certainly reasonable when you consider you probably won't have to buy another bathmat for a long, long time.But while I wouldn't call the Realion here isn't too small, I definitely wish it was just a little bigger — at least a little longer to support a wider stance or some wiggle room if you don't plant your first foot far enough to either side. Sometimes stability getting out of the bath or shower isn't the best, and it's nice to have that larger target. Packaging could have been a hair more robust considering it is breakable. Didn't like that it was sliding around in its own box so much, but it did arrive in perfect shape.
