This product worked great but was very confusing at first, it came with 3 different SIM cards and I use Straight Talk but they had Verizon, AT&T, and T Mobile cards in the kit. Come to find out I was able to use any of these with Straight Talk but nothing told me this within the packaging. There was also no instructions on how to upgrade your Straight Talk phone if you were already a Straight Talk customer. So to make things really easy for the next person if you have Straight Talk and are just upgrading your phone text onestep to 611611 from your old phone and within 3 texts you'll have your phone switched over to the new phone.

Have been using Straight Talk for last six years, usually never ran into issues so rarely call for support. I purchased a new phone, Note 10+, and ordered a SIM to move my number over; ST doesn't allow SIM swapping. That's when the issues started.Straight Talk's website said the phone was compatible with their network (Verizon MVNO), but it wouldn't allow me to self-activate the SIM even though all the data was provided. This is typical for them, but I thought after five years they would have fixed the problem they stated was "temporary". After speaking with a rep, they stated the phone was activated and would be able to send/receive calls immediately and data would start soon after. That's when the problem started. After waiting twenty-four hours, no data. I called ST, got a rep who had sounded like they were in a call center in Mexico(?). When they couldn't help me they forwarded me to a tier two rep. That rep had me go through all sorts of steps, but nothing worked. They transferred me to another senior support rep, and the call dropped. No big deal right? Well after going through another phone call, and when getting a tier two again, I informed them I had just gone through the process and got disconnected, this rep took my number and stated they would call me if the call dropped; I was calling on a landline, not mobile. Well the call mysteriously dropped again during a "transfer". After over ninety-minutes I was frustrated, decided to wait until the next day and try again.Day two rolls around, and the first line support transfers me once again to a tier two tech. This tech goes through the motions, then tells me to hold. When she comes back, she immediately started saying "are you there", but never even acknowledged that she came back from placing me on hold. This went on for about a minute, then she finally hung up on me.Doing a bit of digging online, for what it's worth, and found out that ST does not support data on a lot of the newer phones produced since mid-2019. They need to update something, but are not doing it. Even their sales section on their site has limited phones, most of which were produced early-2019, but nothing after that point. Only wasted five bucks on a SIM, which the seller phickey64 provided faithfully, but ST on the other hand is not being truthful with customers on what phones are compatible.TLDR: Don't waste your time with ST, their techs will give you the run around and provide activations only. Go direct to Verizon on their "bring your own device" place, which ranges from thirty to sixty-five a month, get a new SIM free in a couple of days and enjoy a more reliable network provider.

After being frustrated with the tech support and being on the phone with Straight talk for a combined total of two and a half hours I frustratingly bought a new SIM Card from this seller. I know very little about phones so what happened next blew my mind. So I receive yet another standard SIM card from the seller and I frown believing that once again I hadn't gotten what I needed. I sat down and gave the man a call who answered faster than a bolt of lightning and after calmly informing me there is a perforation that bends the card all of my problems ended. Turns out I had the right card the entire time but that instead they forgot to mention this the entire time. 5/5 for best Tech support but seriously Straight Talk can jump off a bridge for the run around they gave me. If you see this seller, thank you so much for your time!

The actual SIM card WAS acceptable, but ST would not accept the pin number that came with the SIM for unknown reasons. I had purchased 2 lines from ST, but with only one SIM card for 2 phones.??? Anyway, I ordered the 2nd SIM from Amazon, due to shipping time, and had to use the two pin numbers from ST, because the one from Amazon was not acceptable for that SIM. I am no expert at this, but this is what happened to me. I was just lucky that although ST did not send two SIM's, they did sent two pin numbers. So, all ended well, just relating my experience with the kit from Amazon. The SIM from Amazon worked fine with one of the Pin numbers provided by ST.

I almost regretted buying this kit! First of all i purchased a brand new iPhone 6s directly from Apple is the sim free version. After I bought the phone I got on here to ask if the Verizon card for straight talk would work, I was previously using an AT&T straight talk SIM card on my iPhone 5s, but I like Verizon's service better, anyway, I received several no's upon asking if the card would work. But I figured for the price I will try it anyway. It does work! I register the sim to my account before putting in the phone, then went through the process, my zip code, the new phones imei, eat. Then transferred my service from my 5 to my new 6. All working great, so yes it will work with a brand new sim free iPhone 6s from Apple. Hope this helps someone else!

This seller deserves a five because he went above and beyond to make sure you knew how to use the activation kit by inserting a very detailed typed step by step instructions sheet. The note told me how to install the SIM card to transfer my phone service from my old Samsung phone to my new Samsung S10 successfully. The note listed what will work and what will not and all kinds of helpful details. I really appreciated the extra help because I definitely didn't know what I was doing. I would highly recommend this activation kit.
