Welded ports and 1mm thick. Perfect upgrade from my cheap turkey pot for brewing beer. Lid creates a solid seal. Only downside is the lid handle. I will probably go ahead and add a small amount of jb weld around it before it does fall off. Welds are weak on the lid handle. Everything else is perfect. No rust or issues.

This pot, filled with just water which was circulated rusted through completely within one month. It leaked all over and made a huge nasty mess. Avoid.
