This valve installed perfectly and was in mint condition when it arrived and wrapped well to protect it. It resolved my VVT issue where the driver's side was not keeping up with the passenger's side valve and threw a CEL and the cruise control light was flashing. Something of this importance to the motor and variable valve timing I didn't want to leave to chance getting a knock-off part.

This part replaced the failed driver side exhaust solenoid on my 2010 STI after car threw P0024 check engine code. Great price, almost 30 bucks less expensive than dealer's price, including shipping. Takes less than 20 minutes to replace. Be aware that some residual will oil drain out when you pull this part.

Great price on an OEM part. Fairly easy to replace if you have some mechanical ability. If you happen to buy a vehicle that has had poor service history like I did, this valve can replace the sludged up inoperative one and make your engine run well again.
