Our friend recommended this tankless water heater for our travel trailer. He has it in his camper and it's a great price. We gave it a shot and ordered it --âââââis the best upgrade for our camping experience. It was easy to install and worked like a charm. NOTE: you have to order the exterior door separately - don't forget it. We definitely recommend this product

Installed this heater in about 1hr - a little bit of work to pipes to redirect flow but it works as advertised heats water quickly about 5-9 sec from turning on hot water side, you can mix cold and hot to get desired temp but not to much cold water as unit will turn off flame and bamm! cold shower brrrrr! but another option is set desired temp and just use hot side. Best investment so far, technology has advanced to allow this. JFYI if you don't see a control unit check inside heater its there, 2 blue wires on back of heater go to that controller doesn't matter what order for -+ and you will need to buy extra wire to extend it. also unit is small so be prepared to frame it in to secure it and don't forget the door sold separately

I ordered the Suburban RV Tankless 60,000 BTU Water Heater. The instructions have a lot to be desired. There were no error codes included in the instructions. I had to call an authorized Suburban RV repairman to come and troubleshoot why it would not ignite. He had to call Suburban with the error code of E4. It was found that the heater was shipped with a wire in the heater was not connected. Once it was connected the heater ignited. I was without hot water for 3 weeks. I think I should be reimbursed for the RV repairman's time to find the problem since it was shipped deefective.

The unit works great the digital display is awesome it tells you everything the water heater is doing while it works. It shows water flow if the burner is ignited and it shows the temp going up as it heats. Super easy to install. The only thing that frustrates me is it didn't come with a door. You have to order that separately everyone always has to find a way to get extra money. I would definitely recommend this unit but make sure you order a door with it

Initially, I was unhappy with this unit due to frequent error codes, but another RV technician discovered the problem was an installer error (the first tech left me hanging). Once the issue was fixed, it has worked flawlessly, providing hot water every time! I did notice the gray tank fills up a bit faster since it takes about 20 seconds for the water to heat, and I'm taking longer showers, but since we're always hooked up, it hasn't been a problem.

The unit was exactly as described, had to buy the door separate which was clearly stated on the ad listing. I have seen people complain about missing the remote device, I thought this was the case but it was actually inside the unit and blends in with other componentry. The unit does seem to work great so far, no lighting issues and heats very, very fast. If your boondock camping like I will be it is best to set the water temp to exactly what you like for hot, i.e. 110 F, then you only open the hot valve, no valve mixing with cold water as it could shut the unit down for not enough water flow. I just installed so time will tell but so far very happy.

Ordered this unit and it did not come with the remote. Amazon sent me a replacement unit. That one also had no remote. Amazon couldnt do anything other than keep send me different units. I called suburban and was told the unit WILL NOT WORK without the remote. They do not sell them and said I would have to find a local dealer. I do not have a local dealer. Suburban said when the boxes leave their facility they have remote in the box so they don't know where the remote could have gone.This is the second time I have tried to leave a review but Amazon is blocking it. I wonder why
