I used these to hang artificial ivy 18†above my cedar fence to extend the height and add privacy my new deck. Worked perfectly and will look less artificial once I work with the ivy.

I used these to support a 92ft light string. My mount was into a masonry wall with stucco. The included anchors and screws are a probably fine for wood - but didn't hold in masonry.The two piece construction worked perfectly - makes it easier to mount. We only set up our lights temporarily for parties, etc - so you can easily remove the top half of the pole and leave the bottom mounted.

If you buy 2, 1 remote controls both sets! Rad! …Also, that the other reviewer’s tip; “ just happen to have a larger battery lying around†and do it to extend to short length’s light life! These light poles were perfect for our deck string lights. Just the right size for what I wanted. Easy to install and have held up well so far!

This was a complete waste of time. I used this to mount some string lights, assuming that by the description it would be sturdy enough. It was actually the opposite and you can see in the pictures how the bar under pressure. It was outside in the rain one day and it is already rusty. I had to take everything apart and buy something stronger to do with this item not.

Absolutely fantastic alternative to having to put posts in the ground! Needed to string some lights around out deck and didn’t have a need for full size posts- the lights were a disappointment (that’s a whole other post), but these are amazing. Sturdy, easy to put together and installed, has a carabiner top (game changer) so even in windy weather they stand strong and don’t give. Plan to order several more sets!

We used them to hang a line to hold outdoor curtains to block a neighbor's outdoor light. Very easy to install.

Purchased 24 of these extenders and mounted on wood fence boards. Supplied hardware does not accommodate this mounting arrangement but rather is meant for mounting to brick wall. Quality is ok, shipping Time a bit too long.
