Believe it or not, I always kept my sugar in a tupperware container with a lid because of the fear of sugar ants. When we received this cute little ceramic sugar bowl, I did not hesitate to put our sugar in it and leave it on the counter. No sugar ants to date and this bowl is so easy to use, the ceramic spoon has just the right amount of daintiness and the bowl holds enough sugar to last a month! Glad we purchased :)

goes in the dishwasher. Nice, small size for occasional use. If you use everyday... well might be a little small. Like if my kids were still pouring sugar on their cereal, I would have to fill up every other day. But now it is only used, occasionally, for adding sugar to tea.It is not air tight, so if your home is damp the sugar will clump. Easy to break into with included spoon. I have had pourable sugar containers and I can't use them because when the sugar clumps, it won't pour out. Dish was easy solution.Also is cute.
