Very inexpensive, the rabbits would sit for hours if I could. They love being combed out. Pulls all the fleas, eggs and blood flecks out. Use the right tool for the job. This comb is for flea removal and grooming of cats whose fur is not matted. If that sounds like what you want, BUY THIS COMB! You won't be sorry.I have never met a cat who doesn't LOVE being combed with these. It scratches all their little itches ;-)I have bought a couple of different so-called flea combs here that were worthless due to the teeth being too far apart. This one has nice tight teeth that will grab those little suckers right off your babies. I'm not using it for fleas b/c my kids don't have them, but it is the bomb for removing loose fur and clearing out that undercoat.That being said, I have had to do many hours of flea removal in the past. This comb has the same tooth spacing as my trusty old flea comb, which is still in use. It will do the job.If you say it doesn't catch the fleas, you're the problem, not the comb! You gotta grab 'em FAST!If you say the teeth break, you're using it on something besides your pet!And if you say it hurts your babies' delicate skin . . . this is not the tool you want to remove mats. Of course that's going to hurt!You want a Mat cutter or beaker, which has curved razors that slice through the mats, but not the skin. They work great. Or you could cut through the mats yourself with scissors, but ALWAYS perpendicular to the skin, and not too short. NEVER point scissors down, towards the skin! Just cut the top half off the mat and you will be able to comb it out a little at a time, the exact same way you would remove a tangle from your own hair. Gently.

This cat comb is unbelievable!!! It works great for combing my black cat. He is on the heavy side and it's hard for him to clean himself so this literally is a life savor. The hair that comes off him is quite a lot. I am ordering myself another one because I will leave one upstairs and one downstairs. You will be very satisfied buying this.ðŸ±

This is a great comb for fleas perhaps, but not right for my long haired cat’s coat at all. The tines are way too close together. It pulls his hair and doesn’t really go through easily. It has been okay for my very short coated cat.This is a really ergonomic comb and surprisingly well made for the price.

I have a 19lb cat who has a difficult time grooming her back for obvious reasons. This comb made such a difference stimulating her skin, reducing her dandruff and really lifting her undercoat with ease. She has thick long hair like a siberian.

When I received this flea comb I compared with with the one I have been using for years. First, it has a nice hard plastic handle, unlike the old one which has a nice,chewed up wooden handle. This could be good or bad. My cats didn't tell me, but I interpreted their behavior as preferring the old comb on which they could express their frustration by chewing up the handle as a plus. From my viewpoint the plastic handle is probably a plus as I think it will last longer.Next, I noticed that the teeth on this new comb are finer and more closely spaced. If your cat has very coarse fur this might be a draw-back, but I find it a plus. I had used the old comb to comb my heavily furred cat for quite a while. I do have to admit a mea culpa in failing to keep a close schedule on the flea treatments, so yes, my cat has fleas. I did get a number of fleas the first several times I combed the cat this spring. Today I did not get very many, just a couple after a fairly extensive combing. Then I switched to the NEW COMB. Immediately, I combed out several more fleas. I do attribute that to the tightly spaced fine teeth. I think that makes it superior in grabbing up the smaller fleas. It does drag a bit more going through the fur, too though. But the cat didn't mind that too much.

I picked this comb for my pup this spring/summer to aid in the removal of ticks. Love how thorough this comb works its way through her fur. She is a short-haired breed with coarse fur, and it works wonders. I feel confident using this after I do a tick check, in case I missed any visually. Great quality teeth, sturdy handle, nothing negative to say here.
