I used an about 10 feet of the 50 foot roll to wrap the 30†long 1†diameter exhaust pipe of a Wipro diesel heater. The wrapping process was fairly straightforward. I used a 3/8†overlap. After the first three wraps in used one of the included clamps to hold the whole thing in place. The whole process took about 30 minutes. I think wrapping a larger pile would be a little easier the 1†diameter pipe made it a little hard to keep the overlap consistent.The only negative I have is the included clamps are difficult to cut. I ended up having to use a dremel cutting disc

50'! Of what seems to be adequate insulation for hot exhaust pipes on any ICE machine. That's great value. Too bad you only get 4 metal zip-ty type bands to secure it. With 50' 6 or 8 would be more realistic

Trying to wrap a valve for heat protection, time will tell to see if it works.

It works fine. It's made of fiberglass, so it's itchy, but that's to be expected. It's definitely not easy to install, but I didn't expect it to be. If you're looking for easy install, don't work on cars at all. Working on cars isn't easy

Works well, and looks good when installed properly. I don’t like using the included ties, I prefer to use mechanics wire. I would buy again
