I cooked my Thanksgiving turkey in this. Because of the heating element placement, my dark meat ran hotter. When my breast was ready, the thighs were too. I had to lower the temp for a while because it cooked fast. It would have taken about half the time to cook my 20 pound turkey.

The roaster is very flimsy. The bottom cupped down from the weight of an 18 pound turkey. When removing it the bottomed popped up splattering broth. The finish had a couple bubbles in it. It worked fine & turkey roasted we’ll but not worth the money.

I like the size and look of the roaster. My turkey will fit well. Making the turkey in the roaster will free up my oven for other things. I also like how I will be able to use it when canning to cook apples for applesauce and apple butter, as well as tomatoes for salsa, etc.

Free up your oven at Thanksgiving. This roast our 12 pound bird im mo time and freed up the oven for other things
