I was expecting a shoebox and got a itty bitty box. My first impression was to plan on how to return it.Plugged it in because I am wrong a lot, and OH. MY. GURD.It's not a $1000 laser box, but it's really friggin' close (especially for $80).The microphone sound response is hit/miss depending on the location of the laser box with respect to the speakers and will never be as good as hardwired input, so if you specifically need a sound influenced light show, spend more money on something else.But if you want to fill a room with lights that will immediately make any party better (fog machine on the way), you'll appreciate this.The power cord is very short, take the appropriate measures to prevent a weird setup.

Still going strong and has provided so much fun for both grown up parties (pair it with a smoke machine for added fun) and evening dance parties with the little ones. Great value, highly recommended!
