Received 2 types of moss and 2 types of lichen. Nice big clumps of mood moss and tree/fern moss. The British soldier lichen is notoriously difficult but it’s so beautiful; I really hope I can keep it alive. The pixie cup lichen seems to be doing ok so far but I have a lot of ventilation in my terrarium. For most people I would recommend just getting the moss assortment, or moss + lichen if you’re up for a challenge.

Package took a few days to ship but the moss was still green and super healthy! The bag it came in was the perfect humidity for shipping. Inside was a super cool collection of mosses, some of which I never even knew existed. I've planted them in a terrarium and with daily misting, they've blossomed! Well not literally, since mosses don't flower. But they've grown a lot and are thriving. I got them for $14, including shipping. Especially for a smaller business, this is some amazing quality! I will absolutely buy from here again...I just need to think of an excuse to do so.

Moss arrived early- the tracking wasn't updated, so it stayed in my hot mailbox for longer than I'd like, but it was moist and looks alive. We'll see if it stays that way! I counted 4 distinct moss species, though one of those species was only interspersed with another, no solid patches of it. Also got some of the British Soldiers lichen with the red tips, which is what I really bought the package for. I really hope it survives well in my paludarium! One patch of it was a beautiful chunk of mixed tiny mosses and lichens, the others were just single species clumps.If I remember, I'll come back and update this review later with how the mosses established and if they grow well in my paludarium setup.

The assortment came in all alive and well. So alive and well in fact I ordered it back in Spring and its now August, I haven't even taken out of the bag. I do breath in fresh moisture and I did add a little more mist to the bag. The original shipping bag that it came in was big enough that the moss is growing just fine inside of it for these months at a 69f/20.555c with some shaded sunlight. I WILL 300% buy from this supplier again. had every intention of setting up a mossy terrariums 100% life got in the way and procrastinated.Just wanted to Reiterate This moss is so healthy that it survived at moderate temperatures in the original bagging it came in for months. [with fresh CO2 of course] Location: Central Texas.

Relatively large bag of healthy vibrant mosses and a couple lichen. Smelled earthy, no off or bad smells. The picture I took of assorted moss on clay saucer does not reflect quality; rather it is a picture taken weeks after arrival and reflects my negligence in taking care of it. I’ve purchased this package probably 3 times with the intention of creating an automatic watering system but each time I didn’t get to completing the project in time. So not company’s fault.Please note: you will receive very healthy mosses, however, they require a LOT of attention to keep them that way ( instructions suggest misting the mosses several times per day/every day). This doesn’t apply in certain situations such as (closed terrariums, terrariums with automatic misting systems, mossariums, or grow zones with unusually high humidity/regular foggy conditions/and or areas that receive frequent rain showers.
