Super Springs mounting kits have one simple function; to induce some preload tension onto the installed Super Spring. This is done to ensure that when the up fitted vehicle is unloaded, the Super Springs operate silently. The 2" tall mounting brackets act as fulcrum points on the underside of the Super Spring and the shackles at each end of the springs secure it in place, pivoting as load is transferred to the springs. The mounting brackets bolt to the vehicle spring pack on either end using the U-bolts, cross plates, washers and nuts provided. All nuts provided are nylon self-locking and will not loosen when correctly installed. After installing the mounting bracket, tighten the U-bolt nuts while the vehicle is off the ground. After the Super Springs are installed and the vehicle is on the ground, retighten the U-bolt nuts. MTKT vs. MXKT. Super Springs produces two versions of the mounting kit; MTKT and MXKT. The leg-length of the U-bolts provided in the MTKT are 4" long. If your vehicle's spring pack has had extra leaves added you might require the longer, 5 1/4" U-bolts supplied in the MXKT. To verify the correct kit please measure the height of your spring pack directly above the axle. If this measurement is less than or equal to 2 3/4" you will need the MTKT. If the measurement is greater than 2 3/4" you will need the MXKT.

We have a 27' Airstream and it was a bit much on our 2001 Tundra when we loaded the bed of the truck as well. I researched air bags and Super Springs. This was the best bet for us! They work well. Easy to install. Recommend them highly. And BEST of all...Amazon was by far the BEST PRICE! And trust me...I shopped everywhere!

Necessary for mounting the SuperSprings on my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. The plate hardware bends with wrenching force and could be of stronger quality, but still serves its function well.

The complete kit gave me just what I needed to get the sag out with a heavy bed and trailer on.

I installed this pair of super springs on a Chevy 1500 crew cab short bed. I needed these as I do pull two different trailers for work, up to 6,500 pounds and my atv trailer. It was simple to install and took me 1 1/2 hours. I did take my rear tires off to make it easier to see what I was doing. I have had air bags on some my other trucks but the ride suffered, very stiff. The other two trucks were silverados too 1500 crew cabs so I know the ride. These springs with the roller system give a smooth ride loaded with a trailer and unloaded with no load. My wife complained about the air bagged trucks and the terrible ride they gave. I put the super springs on this truck and she never knew the difference!! To me that was the proof that the springs work and give a great ride too! I will be buying these on my next truck also.

Box was damaged and re-taped! Seven of the eight parts/assembly were missing, making this Mounting Kit worthless. This was the second time in one week that the SuperSprings SSA1 and the required Mounting Kit were recieved incomplete and missing parts. I am left with a unattractive (one) paper wieght. I am not happy with thier quality control and shipping proceedures. I can not rate the quality of either product, because they are in an unuseable state.

Works as needed. Had to have this one in order to install on my F150 so it made the supersprings more expensive than it already was. But otherwise seems very durable . Metal is thick and seems strong. Only time will tell if it’ll last.

Have a 97 Ford Ranger 2.3L. Needed this mounting kit to install supersprings. Really simple installation overall. I suggest using power tools to screw the nuts on, they have a plastic lkcking liner in them that turned my arms into wet noodles after 8 of them. Also, loosely bolt the spring onto the bracket FIRST(doesn't have to be tight at all) the objective is to get the silver plates & bolts that hold the spring to the mounting bracket on BEFORE you bolt the mounting bracket to the leaf springs.then seat the bracket in correct place & bolt on tightly to leaf springs...finish spring installation after that. In my case it would've been easier.

these are needed to install supper springsmy advice when putting them on is to clamp them down using a block of wood and big C clamps on each endthen when you run up the lock nut they stay in place and won't jump around and smack your hand
