I have a 2008 2500 express van that has had lots of tools and weight in it. This has cause d the springs to collapse and weaken over the years, and the van was riding low. Sumo springs brought life back in the the ride and raised the van several inches back to factory hight. :)Extremely easy to install!

Wish thread was longer on summo spring, this way installer could shorten for a perfect fit.

My 2000 Chevy Express 3500 Camper Van has a high-top and weighs about 8500lbs -Rear Axle Weight is 5100lbs Front is 3400lbs. These springs should carry 1500lbs.The install is really simple - jack up the truck at the frame just before rear wheel.The spring comes with a small backing plate with a welded on nut - I thought I try to turn this before I install it.I turned the screw in the plate in my vice one complete in and out before I tried it - man I was right - it started really hard but then got easy.Then crawl under the truck. Pop out the the bump stop. The apparently should slide out, but mine where so old shrunken and hard so I just pulled on them to one side and they came out easy.Then you have to slide the backing-plate of the SumoSpring in - and then get some of the thread locker on the screw - and then the delicate part beginsWithout a lot of visual I pushed the screw into the backing-plate and started turning it slowly- took a few tries until the screw got a hold in the plate.. . So get yourself comfortable and just take your time.After the I got it a few turns in - I started locating the spring over the rear axle - where the bumpstop sits it's like a long slit - so you can move the Sumospring back and forth by about 2 inches! So lower the truck until the spring almost touches the axle- then center it- all the way to the back is wrong or to front is wrong too. It's somewhere in the middle.Sounds all complicated but when you lay underneath there it's obvious. Took me all of 15 minutes to get both sides installed.After installing the spring the Van sits about half an inch higher. So the spring does not have a lot compression.The effect: The Van is driving so much more stable. It's amazing. A passing Semi would require a quarter steering wheel correction. Now you only hear the big Truck passing, but it's not swaying you around anymore.Before the install my wife hated driving in even mild Wind - it scared her with the tall Van and passing Semis. Now she is comfortable by herself and drives it all the time.Further, we live on a Dirt road - with tons of pot holes. Some of the would really rattle the kitchen in the back of the Camper - now it's a lot more silent. These springs are also damper and shocks in one piece!!

May fit the Chevy Express van but not the Roadtrek 200 Popular. the mounting bolt is too short.

This product is the absolute best add on if your using your van to tow anything heavy...even without a trailer my van still rides nice...this is the best money I ever spent on my van...

Install was easy, change the ride of RV much tighter when turning and less bounce over dips. Drove in the smokey mountains a lot of turns and up grades and down grades. A whole new ride very happy. Install did not have to remove wheel just jack up body and installed. Gave a 1 inch rise to rear of RV Front only rose about 1/2 inch.
