My daughter had flowers from her boyfriend. They were in the vase and not in great shape. She wanted to keep them forever. I ordered this kit and made a key chain and a frame. It was sooooo easy! I followed the instructions and not one batch came out bad. I put the flowers in the microwave for 45 seconds and then another 35 seconds...that seemed to work for me. No need to browse for an hour at all the different options, I did that already....I highly recommend this product...it will not disappoint.

This is a really cool flower press to speed up the process of drying flowers. Such a great concept and perfect for my daughter who really enjoys pressing flowers.

I had never used a microwave press before, just a traditional press, so I was intrigued to try this. Usually the drying process takes me around 3 weeks, so being able to dry in just a few seconds is basically magic. It’s easy to use and comes with everything you need, the only extra steps are priming and spritzing the felt pads with water. You put the flowers in like normal, lay them down, lay the sheet down, etc. But then you just put it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time and within a minute you have dried flowers. They come out very similar to when I dry them in a traditional press, but I do think there are color differences and maybe textural, but depending on your needs it might not be noticeable enough to matter. I think for anything special I’ll continue to use my traditional press, but when I’m trying to bust through leaves this is going to be amazing and such a time saver. Love it!

I didn't use this with the microwave . I used it as a regular flower press and waited a month before looking at the finished product. Flowers were dry and pressed. Lavender works especially well.

Iʼve kept wildflowers smashed in my Bible and huge dictionary since I was a young adult. I make cards with them for friendʼs birthdays, anniversaries,et al. I was curious about this process. It is a really great way to preserve wildflowers and makes them usable in short order. The instructions are easy to follow. I did cleanmy microwave before attempting this process. The interior of my microwave is medium in size. It does a great job on this! ANd we are having a lovely early summer with lots of beautiful wildflowers along the roadways. You cannot do a ton of flowers with this method unless you have lots of free time. Iʼve been using this ʼas I need dry flowersʼ so I donʼt get overwhelmed. I imagine I will use this for years and year. Standard flower press sheets are available online or at a local craft store, as you use up the ones provided in this kit. I am all over this! It not only helps me to see nature in more detail but it also allows me to have memories of hikes weʼve taken quickly so I can identfy where each flower group came from

This is a complete flower pressing kit! I used every piece from the tweezers to the cotton, wool, outside plastic press, and the 2 elastic straps to hold it all in place. I spritzed the wool with water as suggested in the written instructions before I pressed the flowers. I microwaved for 20 seconds, flipped it and 20 more seconds. I really should have followed the instructions which says if 20 seconds first then half the time second. The flowers came out NOT smelling good. I left it sitting on the counter for the next hour and the smell went away. The flowers turned out great for my first press. I put them in the glass frame that came with the kit. I want to try all the flowers now!It's a fun grown-up project and a fun learning projects for kids of all ages. The frame would make a great gift, too. My daughter has claimed the keychain and is now on the hun for a small flower to press and add to it. Really a great value!

I will be giving this fabulous SUPIA microwave flower press kit to my daughter. She's an avid gardener and is teaching her three daughters the skills of working with plants.
