Perfect for a 2 or 3 egg omelet. We love it.

Wow, I've been very pleasantly surprised by this little frying pan! I really love the pale green color--kind of a 'sea foam', maybe? Whatever you'd call it, it's very pretty. I don't have an especially frequent need for such a small pan, but I do like to make myself a little zucchini scramble for dinner every now and then, and this pan is the perfect size for that. The weight and handle shape feel sturdy and solid in hand, and it heats very evenly. Of course, scrambled eggs is, perhaps, the best test for a nonstick coating, and this guy absolutely aced that test! The eggs just slide right out, leaving almost nothing in the pan to clean. Pretty impressive! And it's shockingly affordable, too. In fact, I like this pan so much that I am considering replacing my current larger frying pans with the larger ones here by Sur La Table. In the meantime, I am strongly recommending this one. Five shining stars, for sure!

This pan is the perfect size for omelets and with the non-stick surface they are even easy to make. I use this quite a bit because I like having eggs in the morning. The handle is comfortable to hold and doesn't get hot. It heats up evenly and cooks evenly as well. The non-stick surface is good quality and should hold up well to regular usage.

I was excited to give this a try. This is my first ceramic nonstick skillet. I made scrambled eggs first as I thought it would be a good indicator on how effective the skillets non stick surface is. When compared to my aging skillet this thing shines. There was indeed no sticking. The eggs cooked up beautifully and cleanup after breakfast was an easy affair. The heat distribution was perfect and it had zero issues with my gas range. The design is minimalistic and functional. My one gripe is that the rivets used to connect the handle to the skillet are not treated and food does stick to the rivets in the inner part of the skillet. While I realize that the rivets increase the durability I dislike them in the real world. I’d prefer the rivets to be treated with ceramic or nonstick surface to make cleaning easier. Or eliminate them all together. It’s a minor gripe, but felt it was worth stating. This can be run in the dishwasher according to the listing. However I will probably just hand wash it given how easy it is to clean. At around 20 dollars this is a tremendous value and I’m willing to overlook the rivets in light of this. This skillet is easy to recommend to someone just starting out on their own, or an established adult alike. While I’m not culinary pro, this suits my home needs perfectly. Now I just need to pick up the 10†skillet!

I've recently begun using more ceramic nonstick cookware in an effort to not only limit my exposure to potential chemicals, but also to make cleanup a lot easier. This beautiful Sur La Table fry pan is terrific for our daily scrambled egg breakfast we make for ourselves and the kids before school. It's just the right size for a few small servings. It looks very nice, but I'm glad they didn't go too "trendy" with the colors. It's conservatively styled so it has a classic look despite having the ceramic coating.Speaking of the coating, one thing to keep in mind with these is that though they are technically "rated" to go up to a pretty high heat, I've had terrible luck with them if I get much north of 350 degrees (maybe 400 at the max). For some reason, the finish starts to degrade at high temps, so just take it easy.If you're wanting a high temp sear, just use stainless or cast iron and use your ceramic items for more gentle browning like with eggs.I really love this pan. If you take good care of it, it'll take good care of you!

Takes a long time to heat up and has hot spots. Would not buy again...

This is a very nice pan for everyday use. It is well made, definitely non-stick with even heat distribution.I only gave it 4 stars because while the pan is 8 inches wide, the actual cooking surface is only 5 1/2 inches. This makes the pan great for scrambled eggs or one fried egg, but not so great for an omelet.

I got this to replace a traditional non-stick pan that we use every day for breakfast that was getting borderline unsafe to use. I'm not the biggest fan of small aluminum pans because every one I've owned tips over—like it's too light to stay put. Anyway this pan is nice and sturdy and does not tip over, and it has a nice weighty handle, but it's not heavy. It's easy to handle even for me. It gets hot quickly and distributes heat evenly throughout, even on low when just the little burner ring is on. It doesn't take much at all to get going. It's super non-stick, well I mean especially compared to the one we threw out. My eggs slid right off. It's easy to wipe clean and pretty low maintenance despite being hand wash only. Overall a solid upgrade. Looking forward to it being our new every day pan.
