I love this floor lamp - but you can only turn it on/off using a foot switch that's almost impossible to reach. This wireless wall switch solved my problem! It takes literally no time to set it up - works right out of the box. My 2 components are located close enough so I did not need to have line of sight to make it work. The outlet part is hidden under the sofa, and the switch plate is on the wall around a corner about 15 feet away. For now, I attached the switch plate to the wall using command strips - just so I could try it for a while and see if I like the placement before I drill any holes. As other reviewers have mentioned, the switch plate does stick out a little further than a normal hardwire install - but the trade off is worth it. I will be ordering more for my other rooms - great product!!

Easy to use and set up. It has a nice built in look once you hang it up. The on and off relay can sometimes not transmit, but i just get in the habit of hitting the on or off button a few times and it will turn on or off.

This is so handy and comes preprogrammed for easy set up. I plugged a hard to reach lamp into this outlet and keep the switch where it’s accessible.

Overall it works well however if anything blocks a straight line connection it may not respond quickly specially trying to turn it OFF. Not sure why only when turning off. I have some keys hanging near the door and at times it is over the wall switch. But I would buy again nevertheless.

Purchased this for my mother after a major surgery as her living room floor lamp was located behind the TV stand and difficult to turn on/off (and she did not want to move the lamp). Super easy for me to install for her. She loves it so much she still uses it almost 2 years later and leaves the switch on her end table for ease of use. Plus it's safer for her too (less reaching)!

I am using this to operate a light in a room with no wiring for overhead lighting. The product came nicely packaged with some screws for installation, one outlet piece and a remote control light switch which I will install on the wall.It took only a minute to read the booklet and program the outlet switch with the remote and it worked instantly. Makes turning on lights so much less of a hassle, especially for closet that don't have ceiling lights. Might get another for a living room light who's switch is a little bothersome to get to.
