It almost looks like bamboo. It's light, but feels really strong still. There were no instructions, so they lost a star for that. It's not too much to install them, but it would still be nice to have some directions.

This is a very nice looking surfboard rack. Complete, easy to assemble, very sturdy and plenty strong. The wood is very handsome and shows the boards well. Good product and good value.
