Very well made. Excellent construction. Everything they promised. Easy to assemble. I wish the wheels were a larger diameter which would make it easier to roll over terrain.

The good and bad of this cart. It is built like it tank. The welds are good and it's a good design. The bad is the bunkers are shallow. I have an Old Town 120 AP and the channels are to deep for it. The wheels rub on the hull making it unusable. For any othe kayak this would be fantastic.

Works as advertised, had no issues at all. Moved the loaded canoe quite well. Most of the portage was packed gravel. We have tried other models with the smaller tires and they are not made for this kind of trip. The only complaint is It takes up a bit of space when folded up, but to me that is forgot about once you start to portage.I wish we purchased this along time ago.

It costs more than I wanted to pay, but I'm glad I bought it. I'm old and using one with smaller wheels was a pain to say the least. Bigger wheels are better for my back and it handles rocky lake shores and muck much better. The kickstand is a better Idea. The biggest problem is I have to lift my heavy fishing kayak up higher while my wife places and aligns it up properly, but I was doing that with the smaller cart, just not as high. I haven't figured out a one man plan yet but I imagine I'd have to horse it all around more. Its the right height for sliding my kayak off the trailer to the cart and I can do that by myself. Its well made, rugged, and although larger, it folds up reasonably well to fit in the back of the suv. If the money doesn't bother you, you will be happy with this. The money bothered me but I'm glad I bought this.

If you’re looking for a kayak dolly that’s tough this is it, it can handle tough terrain well, only issue I have is the straps have to be readjusted during a long hike

OMG. if your kayak is too heavy to carry, you don't want to add this onto it. It says it weighs 17lbs but feels much heavier. That is a third of the weight of my kayak. And if i need to carry it back to the car, that is crazy! I surely don't want that on the deck of my boat while paddling. i had high hopes for this but the fact that i can't carry just the cart very far says a lot. Maybe big burly men who have fishing kayaks wold want this, but i will look for something more manageable.

I bought it to use on a big portage to kayak.. Unfortunately the trip was cancelled. It's sturdy and will do the trip that is more than the boat launch trips

This cart is a game changer for me as I have a tandem kayak (big, heavy) but most often use it with my golden retriever. Who, although he’s smart, doesn’t really know how to help me get it out of the water and down the street home. This cart makes it easy to take it down to water’s edge through sand and over rocks to launch it or pull it out of the water when done.

First off I am really impressed this cart could even do the canoe trip I took it on. There were 50 m sections where we only had one wheel on the ground. I wasn’t sure we could walk it let alone bring our canoe across it. We did have to add three straps for added support and the aluminum pins bent making the padding rub against the wheel. For improvement on future designs I would add in extra straps for the front and back otherwise it slips back and forth. I would make the padding that contacts the canoe slip resistant. And I would make the aluminum pins something stronger so they don’t bend. But overall super impressed.

Cart is made pretty well, however the pool noodle type pads do not hold up on rough terrain. The steel bars wore through the foam/pool noodle padding on just one trip out (3kms). Unfortunately, the bars then caused big gouge like dents in the bottom of my aluminum canoe. Got more dents on the treck back out. They are pretty severe -almost wore right through bottom of canoe. This cart is way overpriced for having to worry about damage while using it. If you are taking your canoe or kayak down a smooth road without bumps, this expensive cart would be good for you.
