This has good sound. The chimes have straight. The mallet works just fine. I am not sure it would be great for professional use, but for homeschool and small groups and learning it's great.

You can't beat the price and it has a lovely sound. My only disappointment was that it arrived w a broken string/fastener that holds one of the chime bars....however, extra string/fasteners are included in the package, so it was am easy fix. It is a nice addition to my multi instrument practice.

Thank you!! For making an affordable, well-performing product that I can feel good about having spent money on! The sound is awesome, the craftsmanship seems great, and there were extra strings included in case any of them wear out. Overall a GREAT purchase and I'd highly recommend!

I love it but the wand should have been gold not black or even same colour wood as frame
