I was able to capture wonderful pictures and get great views of baby great-horned owls. I enjoyed letting others look through the scope to see the owls up close. This was money well spent. I used a full-size camera tripod as the included one is short. The phone attachment is a game-changer because trying to get, and keep, your phone lined up correctly is nearly impossible without it.

Magnification power is spot on, focus is a little touchy, clarity and image quality are better than expected for price range, size is on par with other similar powered scopes, performance is above average.Packaged securely, carry bag included. The cellphone adapter requires a little patience to get centered correctly. After mounting it works as intended. The tripod is a joke, glad for aftermarket.Zoomed in a top of pine tree about 3 football fields away. Could clearly see the color variation on pine needles, plus the peeling of bark on the tree.Sunshade pulls out around front lens. Eyepiece adjusts in/out for eye relief. Neither one is smooth, both feel cheap. Focus knob is little touchy and seems slightly grainy, knob feels cheap. Magnification is smooth but should have a larger range of adjustment, too short for precise adjustment. Diopter adjusts too easily, should be a little resistance in turning. Image acquisition is easy, provided you replace the tripod with something better. So after all those quirks, I still recommend this scope. For the money you can't beat it unless you spend at least 3x the price. For what it does it is worth it.

No complaints at all, does what it say and is very clear. I can actually take pictures with it using a large phone. Well worth it.

It has a really clear lens and I can read the target. My only issue is not with the scope but my phone when connected to it. My Android has several camera lenses and it switches between them and sometimes just shuts off. Samsung S21. Maybe manual mode?

You get what you pay for, I guess. I bought this to use as a cheap spotting scope, impressed with the specs, and while it works, it has some really annoying problems.Firstly, the included tripod is not height adjustable. On a typical tabletop height, with the angled eyepiece, the tripod is too short to look through standing up yet too tall to look through seated. The tripod is also very wobbly - if there is any breeze at all, the image gets very shaky and useless. I'll buy another tripod, but it would not have been hard to make this one better.Secondly, the glass is not totally awful, but once again there are design issues. At anything above maybe 50 or 60 x magnification, you start getting occlusion, even if your eye is pressed hard into the eye cup. Up to 75x it's almost useless. I get the sense that the glass was just slapped into a generically-sized tube without any consideration on designing the tube to make the glass useable. Finally, the quality is pretty bad overall. The lens caps are so flimsy I feel like I'm going to break them. The knob that adjusts focus has no stops - you can just keep turning and turning and turning in either direction even once you've exceeded the obvious range of the unit. The zipper pouch it comes in is barely long enough, the scope is a fairly tight fit which is annoying since those cheap lens caps tend to get knocked right off.If this is all you can afford and you need to see stuff that's far away, go for it. If you value your sanity, save up a bit and buy something with a little more quality even if it means lower specs.I'm editing to add that the vendor reached out to me after I posted this review and offered some options because I was unhappy. I'm still not a fan of the scope, but if you do decide to buy it, at least you'll know the vendor is active and responsive with support.

I like the smooth, gradual 25-75 zoom in. Powerful enough for me- at the 50x setting, .223 holes in paper show up fine at 100yards. Not 5 stars because the carrying case should have been 1/2” longer. I used a case I had for a lesser quality scope,

This does very well for what we paid. Had longer distances at about 200 yards sometimes it is hard to see bullet holes on targets. After about 150 yards it is hard for the telephone connector to work well and take photos. It seems like it narrows the optical feature enough to offset it. Do not get the whole picture in view easily.

It meets my basic need : shooting range spotting from 25 to 100 yards. For this purpose, I see that at max zoom at 100 yards, it is not possible to have sharp focus on the target paper but I can still see where the shot landed even for .22 caliber. With a phone attached, you can have better focused image (autofocus by the phone). For other spotting purposes it is definitely usable at longer distance.
