This is a great set of spring clamps. The set comes with a wide variety of decent strength clamps. The clamps are well crafted and seem to be heavy duty. They are quite useful for an array of different applications. I especially like the value of money you get by getting so many in one set.

These clamps were purchased for craft work. They were way too strong for themand so were returned. Bot the less "strong gripped" package.

For a value-priced set of spring clamps, these will probably hold your interests. Set of 2ea 7-inch, 4ea 6-inch, and 6ea 4 inch (shown in photos against U.S. Dollar Bill for sizing comparison) seem to have solid spring resistance. Shown in close-up photo, I find that the PVC tip covers are easy to remove and a bit thinner than some I’ve tried. I’d also recommend applying a protective spray wax coating over the “nickel plated†metal. Only time will tell for certain, but I have initial concerns that these won’t age particularly well if not stored in a climate-controlled environment. Overall, I round them up to a 5-star level on strength of their value-based $22USD price point (time of review).I hope you found my comments and photos were of benefit in your considerations.

Ever had a crab bite your finger? I suspect you will feel the same pain if one of these spring clamps gets your finger as the springs are very strong. Looking at my old clamps I realize they wear out. Not necessarily the springs but those rubbery tips and handles. Some of my oldies have tips that are worn through, some are covered with paint. Some of the rubbery handles don’t want to stay on. Glad I got some new ones.

You might want to think about how often you use these things. Repeatedly opening the biggest ones might wear you out. Otherwise, this set appears to be a pretty good bargain.

The clamps themselves are great and I love the fact they come in 3 sizes. However, when taking them off of items you have clamped, the tips often fall off. I've lost a few and had to put electrical tape around the edge to keep it from scratching stuff. If they can maybe glue them on or something that would bring that score up to a solid 4 or maybe a 5

I was excited to test these clamps and they did not disappoint. They're very good quality heavy duty clamps. The metal is nice and sturdy, and the grips are nicely fitted. They are comfortable in the hand, and easy to use. The tips also stay on really well, which is a problem I had with plastic clamps. This is a great set at a good price.

Clamps are strong and require serious hand strength to open. Luckily, the squishy material on the handles make squeezing the clamps open pain free. Once the clamps are applied, they hold with superior strength. I like how there are several sizes in this set to cover a variety of clamping needs.
