My old Swingline Staple Gun has been in need of a resupply for years now. Didn't know which ones to buy. I did a search on Amazon and came up with a gamut of staples that would fit. I selected these in 3/8" and they worked perfectly as hoped.

The staples are recommended for the usage to the Optima stapler. I looked up the information and they are recommended for 25-40 sheet capacity. So I figured that I would be buying a diverse staple that can be used in different sheet capacity stapler (by Swingline) if need be.They come in a great metal container for easy storage and usage. When loading them to the stapler I broke a staple strip in a third. They look as if they could only staple 20 sheets because they look like average staples. When I used them to staple different sheet size packets ( for school assignment) such as print outs of PowerPoint and reading articles. The staple(s) went through the different size sheet packets like a hot knife through butter.They are amazing staples! Oh and thank you Amazon for the speedy delivery!

Staple sets are stacked into one another's U shape chamber making for a great compact storage.The lid is loose, meaning if you place it in a storage box of supplies, it may come loose and release all the staples. It should have had some kind of a locking mechanism.Finally, you have to break the set for smaller staplers so the row of staples fit in the chamber. In the process you may lose some that may fall out.

I had these before. It's great for tax paper work. Like all those receipts you need to keep together. Or just to make a mini pad. I have never done more than 50 pages. It says it can do 70. It's great. This brand has always been the best. So why get a cheap brand and have staple jams. Or your papers get lost. Great buy!
