Step 1
Cut the reflective tape to the desired length.
Step 2
Ensure that the surface is smooth and completely free from dust, dirt, grease and moisture.
Step 3
Paste the reflector tape on the surface with your hand or tool. If the temperature is low, slowly heat the tape with a hair dryer.
Step 4
Reflective Tape will stick on smooth and textured surfaces, such as metal and aluminum, plastics and other surfaces.

Love the visibility this provides. I have a carport corner post that I have to back past in the dark. The backup lights on my truck and other lighting are inadequate for seeing this post. I installed some of this tape on this post and the very first time used I noticed a huge difference in visibility with my existing backup lights and even just the brake light on the truck made this post very visible. Completely solved my problem. This tape also helps during the day as the sun comes over the house and makes it impossible to see this post due to high glare from the sunlight. This tape solves this problem too because of the coloring of it. I did use the peel off stick on adhesive as well as shooting some staples from a staple gun around the edges of the tape. This tape has a very good adhesive on it but trying to use it by itself on a wooden post that sits in direct rain, sun and wind, there's no way that even the best adhesive will hold by itself for an extended period. I have many other intended uses for this product as well. Will definitely buy again when needed. I bought the larger roll as I have so many places to use it and in a size vs cost comparison, it's cheaper by the foot to get the bigger roll.

This stuff is handy I used it to mark steps so the light can reflect off of them perfect I can think of many uses for this stuff. Super sticky stuck right to concrete.

There are a couple areas in my garage where it is difficult to see possible hazards- a slight bump by the entrance to my condo, and a step in the back of the two-car space that leads to a storage area. There have been a couple stumbles by my small grandchildren and close calls with falls that I knew I needed something that would at least provide a visual cue to be aware of .possible danger.I didn't want to have to scrub down the garage floor to ensure adhesion so I specifically chose an outdoor/waterproof tape.Very happy so far with this tape! The bright red/white reflective stripes are easily seen and, two weeks after placement, I have tested the adhesion and the tape is staying in place.

Not as bright as I hoped the reflection would be and not as adhesive as I expected. Very quick delivery and price was extremely reasonable.
