The value on this door is too good to pass up. It is now $50 less than when I bought it in June of last year. Putting the wooden door together is in itself a task. If you are not handy or an avid DIY'er I would not recommend it. If you are then buy it. The screws provided to complete the door assembly were actually week and I easily stripped one. I ended up using 3 inch exterior screws which worked well and got the joints as tight as possible. There are complaints that everything does not line up perfectly, which are true, but again it is a great value for the price. The stain is weak and seems to rub off easily so I gave it a coat of tung oil which gave it a nice finish. The hardware is nice and although I liked the bottom guide it did not work out in my situation with my moulding so I purchased another which is shown in the pictures. Our laundry room revamp was well planned out so framing was put in before sheetrock to attach the rail. It was easier to install than a pocket door in our remodel. All in all, we love the look and the price is great.

This was my second barn door I purchased recently. Decided to save a little money and go with a slightly less costly door. That was my first mistake. You get what you pay for rings true here.1. Box arrived pretty mangled and there was some damage to some of the panels. Fortunately I was able to fix and hide the damage.2. NO instructions but for one piece of paper showing the parts and sort of how the door slab itself goes together. Nothing regarding the hardware or mounting instructions.3. The handle has no holes drilled for mounting the handle, I guess I’m just going to have to figure out where it goes and drill them myself.4. The angled slats are supposed to stick on with an adhesive strip but they don’t stay on. They all fell off after about 5 minutes. I will have to glue them on with something else.5. The fitment of the panels is not great. There are gaps and misalignment causing a slightly unfinished look.The problem with buying something like this that has issues is that you don’t find out the issues until you build it and then they want you to un assemble it, rebox it in a mangled box and take it to UPS… IMPOSSIBLE to do by yourself.Hopefully my handyman that’s coming to install it won’t have any issues.I would NOT buy this door again.

Bought 2 doors. Doors are very simple to assemble. Trax system also is a good quality. But the staining process is flawed on both doors. Also got one warped Z slat that cracked when I screwed it down. All fixable and door still seems worth the price.

I accidently bought the wrong size door. after requesting a return the company stood behind the product and accepted the return. after that i bought the right size door and had it installed. Few companies stand by their products like this one does. BTW the new door is awesome. Thank you
