I changed this part out thinking this was one of two problems. I was wrong and discovering that something else was out of my control and in no way reflects this product. I am pretty handy so changing out the part was simple for me. You should probably get a qualified professional if you have ANY doubts in your abilities. This item I bought worked for me and with no issues for the few months that it has been installed. The shipping was pretty fast as I got the item after only a couple days when it should have taken two weeks. (I don't have Prime, but I also do not mind waiting for stuff either if I can). If I ever needed to buy this part or any other from this place I will as it was a good experience.

The original relay for my heating strips died, so I bought this replacement and it worked great. It was a simple fix and I didn't have to pay some AC guy $300.00 for a $24 part. I live in South Florida and the winters can get pretty harsh. I don't have a heat pump so I have to rely on heating strips. I was able to kill the power to the AC unit, drudge through the snow, replace the relay, and make it back in before freezing. It was a drop-in replacement. The unit isn't too far away from my front door, so I didn't have to bring out the snow sleigh and the huskies, so that was nice.

Love it. It fixed the A/C problem and we did not have to pay for the professional. Big savings and A/C works great now.

These last 2 years on average - I've gone through 2 of these in 4 years on a brand new unit. Unfortunately, they control the emergency electric heat on my geo and gets stuck on during the *summer* when the *AC* is on so heat isn't even engaged, let alone emergency heat. This makes it extremely difficult to detect, since A/C will just run non stop to counteract, overheating and stressing the system until water leaked out of the geo pumps since it overheated and expanded.  Eventually the system couldn't keep up and it got hot which is the only indication this failed, but since we didn't know that the HVAC guy couldn't figure it out since everything checks out as normal on the A/C side. The refrigerant was a little low (probably leaked some from the overuse) so they refilled that then were bewildered when that didn't fix the problem. Finally they figured out this was the problem no several hundred dollars later in electric and HVAC bills. 2 years later it happened again -- same exact MO -- only noticed it was getting warm upstairs two weeks after it started, at which point we were already a couple hundo in electric bills in. At least this time I can replace it myself since I know the issue. I've double checked the wiring diagram on the unit to make sure it's hooked up correctly. Seems just like it fails after a couple years on it's own without even being engaged. 1-star, but no other choice since it the part my OEM used for their unit.
