Good sturdy metal (coated) and definitely requires little effort to install. It does come with instructions, which are self explanatory. there are a few reviews of people not being sure how sturdy this is due to the placement of the bolts, however, that is not a problem. upon placing it, it will fill a bit wobbly, even when tightened fully, however, once you close the rear hatch of the xterra, it acts as a stop against the taillight guard, holding in firmly in place. Overall, great shipping time (not prime available) and pretty good packaging.

I bought these to make my truck look a bit spicy. Liked how they looked, and was excited to get them.I got them and the driver went on fine, no issues. The passenger one, would not screw in AT ALL. So, I contacted the company, just for an exchange.Amazon told me I had to wait until 3/15 for a response. 45 minutes later, I got a reply. The wanted some pictures of what was happening. So I sent them photos and 2 small videos. Within an hour and a half a replacement order was being sent to me with tracking information.Very good customer service, very prompt, and very kind.Will update when I get them installed.

It had much better quality than I anticipated, I how ever expected no damage but was unfortunate to find a few bumps and bruise on the guard itself. How ever upon review, I have given this shipment an overall score of a 4. Timing was on point and the product itself is very pleasing. Thank you amazon for another great experience! Fit perfectly and installed in less than 5 minutes. These might actually add some protection, especially compared to the factory guards
