The real deal wire saw, not like the cheap not even one use throw away junk. This should be in every bailout bag and survival kit.

This product is light and it does work. The downside is it does break fairly easily. On the plus side if it breaks near one of the grips you can easily and quickly remove the grip and reattach it to the shortened wire. For the cost it should probably come with more replacement wires. I don’t know that it would get you far if you were building anything protective out in the wild.

This saw works great and did exactly the job I needed to do, however, the rings are small and I had to take my gloves off to use it which cut into my fingers - didn't draw blood but still hurt.

Works pretty well. The wire saw is a little shorter than some other wire saws. Includes an extra wire, nice.

have not put it to the test yet but it looks a lot better than those cheap wire sawsyou can get replacement blades but NOT at Amazonyou have to go to the manufacturer site to get that done

I got this as a small-size, high-leverage addition to my 72 hour “Get To Safety†emergency bag. U.S.G.I. military survival kit issue hand saw with National Stock Number issued. Under 3-ounce saw with a safe-to-touch spiral edged blade that’s tough enough to cut through light metal, ceramics, bone, and of course wood. 20-inch-long spare blade is included. Much safer, easier, and lighter than having an axe or abusing your primary survival blade, plus it supports more material/shape cutting options. Not an inexpensive item, you’re actually paying for getting rid of the added bulk and weight of items this amazingly capable saw replaces in gear you’d otherwise carry.Thanks for confirming your vote of “helpful†on my photo and comments.
