Has a lot of coverage, there are molle points all over it, and is made of strong, durable materials.The front holds 11x14", the back holds 10x12", and the sides hold 6x6" plates.The Velcro is really strong and I'd recommend putting some tape over it to make it easier to open.The pouch in the front has lots of room for tools, utilities, or your phone

I have been building this vest up for a while now as a backup bug-out, says it'll hold 10 x 12's and from what I am seeing as well, some side protection as well. The molle loops work ok, there's some slack in it that leaves some more to be desired. I also have accidentally ripped a couple threads when trying to open a flap, seems it needs some double stitching in specific areas.That aside, this this will take whatever you throw at it as far as gear mounting. Plates are on order for a real test, but I anticipate no issues, it has a very redundant plate holder, as well as a crazy amount of adjustability.My closing thoughts:If this is the first carrier you are putting together for "not-airsoft" it is a good starting point, you'll be able to see what goes where the best, and any issues you have can usually be fixed by buying another add-on. It is definitely comfortable off the bat, but you may want to look into some gel or similar shoulder padding, as a couple plates will definitely weigh on your shoulders.For airsoft, send it, this thing will rock doing night-ops, or dark-indoor!

As soon as I opened the package the front snaps holding the front pocket shut popped off. Aside from this, the material is very sturdy. There is enough velcro on this one vest to supply NASA for a year. The back pull handle is strong and the molle loops are strong and should hold up. As a big guy, around 270, I got it on with a little trouble but once adjusted it fits well.

This plate carrier was of excellent quality for the cost. I was able to adjust it properly, and affix all necessary equipment. I even added one of my combat knives to the list. In addition, this plate carrier was made of 1000 denier nylon, and fit all my armor plates. For airsoft, or for light training, I highly recommend this plate carrier.

The fabric is thick and heavy. It is sewn together well. The hook and loop (Velcro) on it is very grippy. More so that others I have tried. Once you get this set for your size it is staying there.It has side panels for plates in addition to the front and back.It is stout enough that I don't know that you need to add a pad or plate for air soft.This is the most heavy duty feeling item of its kind that I have gotten and I have owned a few.Just be aware it takes a effort to adjust. It does not just come apart.This one is solid.
