My husband spends a lot of time outdoors, either farming or hunting and I figure this shirt will help to keep him warm during the cold winter months ahead, when worn as an inner layer.I ordered the undershirt in my husband’s usual size, and it fit well and has a soft feel against the skin. The material is dense enough to help retain heat, while still being light enough to be comfortable to wear. Although the temperature has not dropped sufficiently to test the thermal effect of the shirt, I have confidence that the density of the material will ensure that it insulates well.I haven’t washed the shirt yet, but will update this review if there are any laundry issues. The tag indicates that the shirt can be either machine washed or hand washed in cold water and line dried. This makes sense as clothing should be line dried, since high temperatures can damage thermal fabric.I am quite happy with this shirt, as is my husband. He looks forward to wearing it a lot when the winter cold arrives.Update: I washed and dried the shirt according to the instructions. It washed well, with no issues.

I ordered this for my partner and he loves it. The shirt is great, warm, thin, and stretchy. It can easily be worn under a shirt with no issues. A v-neck would have been a bit better, this one works well. This is not a compression shirt, it is a thermal shirt and a good one. Only reason for four instead of five stars is because the seams are a bit intrusive and you feel them a bit. Overall though, a great thermal shirt.
