A little bulky but works perfectly. Great value for the price and good quality it should last a while. Threads did not leak.

They leak, replace cheep casket with O ring. Use pipe seal paste not the tape supplied and all works great.

These are actual tapered thread female iron pipe (FIP), not straight thread British pipe. Used these to replace two PVC unions after one of the PVC unions cracked. No leaks at the threads and no leaks at the union.

I tried both Teflon tape and pipe thread compound. I'd expect that the plastic washer would prevent leaking, but it didn't. I replaced them with a couple of black iron unions. They didn't have washers, but there was a brass "seat" on one side of the fitting. They didn't leak at all.I think the fittings were malformed to the extent that they could be tightened, but not to the extent that the washers could do their job. They looked fine, but when I took them apart, I could see that the plastic washers didn't look like they were under any amount of compression.

Great product. Better than any big box store. They have Teflon ring for seal. Better price than other places. The plus is being stainless steel no corrosion.

This union is well made with a gasket rather than beveled surfaces. The machining is perfect. The fit is tight. The OD is smaller than the cast iron unions I've used. I highly recommend.

Used these to connect home water filters. The quality seems great but they do not seal very well. For the price I guess they are ok but I'm going to swap them out for better ones due to piece of mind on a water leak. I 3 of them on my system and 1 drips about every minute. I have replaced the seal several times but it just will not quit dripping. They are stainless though and are rather cheap. 1 out of 4 that I bought leak so I guess that not horrible.
