Outlet barb is smaller than the original Vstar1100 barb. I just used a smaller hose inside the larger original hose and clamped it up well with a hose clamp. No leaks and easy work around. Device works smoothly.

Was surprised it fit perfectly and has been working fine. Had to put a new tank and gasket for gas shut-off. Figures for this price replace the whole thing. No leaks or problems.

The casting is a bit rough but for the use it worked well. It was not a smoothly made as the OEM one and the finish is a bit dull but again it was cheap and worked well. I’d recommend it.

I've been working on motorcycles since I was 12 (62 now), & this is by far the simplest fuel valve replacement I've ever done. Waited till bike was almost out of gas, laid it over on it's right side in the yard, took maybe 5 minutes to replace valve, stood it back up, checked for leaks, then started it up & took it for a ride. The only caveat I found was the new outlet was a smaller hose size than original, quickly solved by slipping a very short bit of vinyl tubing over the outlet, then slipping the original hose over it. Used original clamp, absolutely no leaks. Plus, valve appears to be rebuildable, whereas the OEM valve was not.

Fits perfectly on my 82 maxim 750 without any problems or leaks. I highly recommend this instead of the ones with the vacuum system, as it is more reliable. Just don’t forget to turn it off when you shut off your bike

I have a 2005 Road star 1700, Amazon vehicle chart confirm this will fit my vehicle. And it does until I went to connect the fuel line of my bike that is 5/16 but this item barb is 1/4 inch and right now I’m unable to tight the hose clamp enough to stop the fuel leak.

The intake port locations were reversed from the old leaky one, still works properly. So nice to see 10 more mpg!
