I wonder if my trees will give me anything I recommend also maybe bags around your stuff in case it rains when you’re making it yourself at home

I bought this because I wanted to try tapping my maple tree for fun. I couldn't believe the amount of sap I collected from one tree alone! It was easy to install on the tree. You basically just hammer the spile into the tree and hang a bucket on it. You must do this at the correct time of year, and be sure the tree is big enough so research a little before you start.The product held up very well and I would definitely buy it again if I decide to start tapping trees again.If you're wanting to try your hand at making your own syrup, I recommend this product.

Kind of flimsy... works for probably one season. Made some out of wood and they worked just as good and were free
