I thought this was a great deer mount. Love that wood texture and the accent of the rope around the antlers. Take your time making the cut ins for for your antlers and you’ll be fine.I just started with small cuts and I thought they turned out really nice. Would definitely buy again.

Has a really good look and was easy to install. Wish the plaque came with a wall hanger already on the back. Besides that I really like it.

My husband had many sets of antlers that had been collecting dust for 20 years, so I decided to play taxidermist! I ordered a bunch of different mounting sets and this is very good looking! I had so much fun doing it! And the whole time thinking how great it was that I was saving so much money! For any of the sets I found as long as you have scissors, double-sided gorilla tape and a drill (I also used a nail gun)— even a first timer can make them look professional!

The wood is nice and since the one I bought was discounted for damage I really couldn't complain that some who had it before me had cut up the centerpiece. It turns out I wouldn't have used it because it looks so cheap but the plaque is nice.

Everything you need is there accept you will need adhesive to mount the rope around the antlers hot glue gun works best. Take your time trimming the cap and your mount will turn out great. This kit is not cheap looking like most of the kits you buy online.You can get professional results if you dont rush it. Another thing I like to do is use some fine steel wool to polish up the antlers and spray on some clear urethane.
