This little gem does the job well and takes up little space in your kitchen drawer. Love the fact that it can read out in Celsius and Fahrenheit. DO NOT submerge in water to clean. Just use a soapy damp cloth to wipe clean and rinse off carefully. Will last forever if this one simple rule is followed.

This simple small thermostat is more effective and accurate than any other thermostat I have used. I've used the leave in the food ones, and the BBQ ones but the simple small form factor of this thermostat is what makes it great. replacing the battery seems to be an issue so I just bought two more. The fact that you can check the temp of your food to ensure it is the right level of cooked and because it is small I can bring it with me when camping, so no eating anything accidentally under cooked.

It works great. I use it to check temperature on everything. It's accurate. It's easy to use and easy to clean. You never have to wonder if your food is ready or warm enough.

My old one that I had for at least 16 or 17 years maybe a little more, finally actually broke, so I wanted to make sure I got the exact same one, bc it worked so well! It's fast and is always extremely accurate and btw... I never had replaced the battery during that entire time either!

Our pellet smoker has a probe thermometer. I've questioned how accurate it truly is. We smoked a turkey for Thanksgiving and my eyes and nose said it might be done but the probe only read 156*. I got out my new thermometer and it read 167*.Let turkey rest, and it was perfect! So glad I didn't trust the probe on the grill and used separate thermometer or we would have had a dry Turkey!

It worked fine for 6 months then battery died so bought new battery-easy to find. But very difficult to screw it back into the thermometer. Took a long time. Since I like the thermometer I stuck with it. I plan to order another for back up. With new battery works perfect. I would suggest that if you are going to use it a lot place some electric tape or some waterproof tape over the plastic holder for the battery so if you drop it the battery doesn’t pop out and then you are hunting all over the floor-like I did. Otherwise, great product.
