I tried the chlorine reagent and it didn't produce any color. We bought a bottle of chlorine reagent from Leslies, turned out to be Taylor also, didn't work. I tried Oxo and it gave a color reading. Is it possible a whole batch produced by Taylor is defective? Has there been a change in Chlorine testing, requiring two reagents be used? Addendum - I returned the second bottle to Leslies and learned that the Taylor product I bought has to be used with a second reagent. In the bin right next to the Taylor reagent I bought was ANOTHER Taylor chlorine reagent, OXO which I presume is what I wanted in the first place , a single reagent. I still fault Taylor for selling two reagents for Chlorine testing but which work differently and I fault Leslies for putting the two bins right next to each other.
