I used them so far for bread, cookies and fried tofu and they held up just fine. I wouldn't put anything heavy on them but they work just fine as a cooling rack for a good price. Be careful when cleaning because even a little force is enough to bend or break connections.

I am so happy that I stumbled across these racks. They are great quality for such a great price! I love that they are easy to clean and very sturdy. Each cooling rack arrived individually packaged in bubble wrap, packed together tightly in plastic, in a box with air pillows. This prevented any scratching or warping that could have happened during shipping. I loved my first set so much that I ordered a second set. The only possible downside that I have to note to buyers is the dimensions. If you are looking for cooling racks that are exactly 16" x 10", you may want to consider buying another product because all the racks I received were actually 15.75" x 10". This actually ended up working in my favor for what I was using them for, but it may have been a problem if I needed them to be exact.

I make chicken wings quite often. I don’t deep fry but bake in oven. I tried a new technique with these one day after getting them. Some reviews complain about sticking. I did 4 1/2 lbs chicken wings. Zero sticking. I covered an old cookie sheet with foil. Placed rack on top. Lightly greased with a paper towel with canola oil. I parboil my chicken wings in salted water. 7 minutes. Pour in colander and pat dry. Then in large bowl, add three tablespoons canola oil to wings. Stir to coat wings. Then I sprinkle two tablespoons baking powder and thee tablespoons of Emeril’s Creole seasoning. Check on Google for recipe. I make a batch and put in labelled jar. Mix it all thoroughly. Preheat oven to 375 F. Some like it at 425 F for even crispier wings. Using tongs, lay out the wings on rack. Then put in preheated oven for 45 minutes. I did not turn this batch over. My kids like dry wings but I make my own hot sauce for anyone that likes that. These wings are all gone in no time. Note: none stuck to the rack because it was prepared properly and that is the Maillard Reaction at work. I wish I had bought these racks sooner. Photos 1 is parboiled with seasoning. Photo 2 is baked for 45 minutes. Photo 3 is wings removed from rack. Nothing stuck to grids. Will wash easily. On second photo, some wings removed so I could taste them when removed from oven. The Chef has privileges. My durability assessment is based solely on construction closely inspected. Time will determine this rating accurately. I do take good care of everything so I expect no concerns here for me. Good value and useful for me. I used to make batches of 300 chocolate chip cookies and could have used these racks then.

After some use, we see these as one of the better options for such a kitchen item. They have been robust and have not rusted.

Très bon produit ces grilles de refroidissement son parfaite je les utilise pour le fumoir mais peut aussi servire pour refroidir vos cuison type gâteau comme le séchage des fromage etc.. je recommence

Ich muss hier anmerken, dass ich diese Gitter völlig zweckentfremdet habe.Ich habe mir nämlich einen kleinen Kaminofen eingebaut und weil ich ein Kleinkind habe auch ordentlich umgittert mit speziellen Kinderschutzgittern. Diese habe ich auch an der Wand und auf dem Boden verschraubt. Da jedoch immer noch Kinderhände durch die Gitterstäbe hätten fassen können, habe ich hier speziell nach einem passenden Gitter gesucht. Im Baumarkt bin ich mit meinen Ansprüchen daran allerdings nicht fündig geworden. Es sollte ja keine scharfen Kanten und Ecken haben, auch stabil genug sein und vor allem recht engmaschig sein, so dass man nicht durchfassen kann, aber auch genügend Warmluft hindurch strömen kann. Ich habe 6 Gitter gebraucht um diese an den 3 Seiten zu befestigen. Jetzt kann er nicht mehr hindurchgreifen und auch nicht darüber.Bin sehr zufrieden diese gefunden zu haben, völlig unerwartet in der Küchenabteilung.Also die Gitter sind verchromt, sehr stabil, keine überstehenden Kanten oder Grate. Sie widerstehen auch der Hitze des Ofens, der sehr dicht dran steht, im Abstand von 12 cm.Preisleistungsverhältnis find ich auch top.
