I was expecting only 1 neck cork but came with 3! Instructions are on the cork packet.

The instructions were a little hard to follow and I had difficulty getting the glue out of the tube. I ended up using some glue from another source. But the cork is on it’s on tight and my horn sounds great. I would probably buy again.

Save yourself time and effort and buy a bottle of contact cement w/ a brush, a razor blade and a sheet of cork to cut yourself. This pack was trash. The contact cement in the tube was horrible. Took forever to come out of the tube. Razor blade wasn’t sharp enough and shredded the cork when trying to trim it slowly.Buy the right materials, not this all in one pack of garbage

It came with a lot more than I expected. The razor blade works great for different types of repairs on instruments, and comes with a good amount of cork, as well as cork grease! Great kit for emergency repairs.

This is a nice collection of materials and tools for replacing neck cork. The cork is very good quality. The knife and other tools are very adequate. the Abrasive paper is great for smoothing the cork after application and the glue is dry. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. Cork grease upon completion is a nice touch. The glue (really like rubber cement) is in a tube with a tiny orifice which prevents the glue from coming out except in a really, really SLOW manner. See photo. Perhaps the glue should be opened in a different way. There is no mention of the glue in the instructions. Other than that, this is a good cork replacement kit.I recommend this product.

This is a really nice kit that contains everything you need to replace the cork on your saxophone neck. I never find it easy to replace the cork myself, but the contained instructions and supplies may the task much easier.

I ended up having a woodwind repair person do the cork replacement on my tenor sax, and they immediately bypassed the cork included here. They suggested that this would be a good backup kit for a band director who has to change out corks on school instruments frequently, but this doesn't have "the good cork" that he preferred (granted, this could very well come down to personal preference), which tends have a bit of rubber content in it. Who knew?Unless you're willing to follow a TOP-RATED YT video on how to change your neck cork, or maybe you have a low-quality instrument and don't care that much, I'd recommend letting an expert take care of this small repair. But for some of you, like band directors or tinkerers, this is a fine little kit to pick up!
