The antenna mount was great. when you actually get the mount it looks small on the pictures but its about the size of your hand..i installed this was not hard at all. took like 5 mins. i put a firestick antenna and perfect. antenna was straight. up and not slanted or anything the mounted was very firm.NOTE: with the stock tire on and the bracket mount installed. the antenna almost rubs the tire. its about 1/2 inch away, so if you have some over size tires the antenna might rub. but other than that it works great... oh and a other thing. when you have this antenna mounted on, you have to open the cargo door all the way open. if not the glass will hit the antenna if you open it up. . this is only for hard tops jeeps jk

install is straight forward BUT you MUST scrape off the powder coat at the bolts and antenna hole and you have to get it all or you will not have a good ground. trying to ground from bottom nut on antenna does not work.There are others that do not have the powder coating, friends have, that look slot better without powder coating

Works and fits '13 jkur perfectly. Make sure you grind off some powdercoat inside and around the holes so you get a good ground through the bolts and antenna stud/cable. I also ran a ground jumper wire between the stud and mount bolt to improve swr. Bracket doesn't seem to conduct very well for some reason. Made a .3-.5 swr difference.

This is not a light mount!!! I repeat, THIS IS NOT A LIGHT MOUNT!!!!Don't fall for the description nor photo. When I purchased this for my brothers Jeep, we discovered really quickly that its designed for the spare tire mount!Now I gave it 1 star for getting to me on time, and another star for being so sturdy and so well designed. But it's not for the light...

It works as intended and fits well. The only reason for the 3 stars is because you have to remove the powder coat on the coax and vehicle side spots to get a good ground. This is common knowledge and Teraflex even say it in the instructions. While its not difficult to do this, it one of those things that can be done easily at the time its made versus leaving it up to the consumer, many of which do not do it and wonder why they cannot get a good antenna ground.

Teraflex always makes good stuff. This is a heavy duty mount, and very well powder coated. However....once mounted, it was very slightly off vertical...antenna has a very slight lean to it. Not a big deal, but I notice it. Second...once mounted, the antenna WILL contact the spare tire. As mentioned, the powder coat on this thing it THICK! I had to do a little grinding to remove it from around the hole for the antenna bolt so it would make good ground. Notice to Teraflex.....leave these areas powder coat free LOL. Overall great mount and will get another when the time comes.

I put 1 star because after receiving the wrong product I got no response from the supplier and upon further investigation (should have done this before purchase) I found multiple people have gotten the wrong produ t and the seller has not updated their add to reflect the actual product they are selling. It has become clear the seller does not care and is intentionally providing people with the wrong product

Mounting antennas right behind the spare tire is not working so well. I have a fiberglass antenna on a spring mount but the tire restricts the travel. I would not get this kind of mount again.
