These guys are shrill and loud if you blow hard. They get people's attention!! Good if you are lost. Hunters should always carry one.

Love that these were affordable and well made. Practical for placing on key chain ready for use. We gave them out at public events and the kids loved them. Adults also seen how they would be great for an emergency.

These work great for what i need them for. I’ve started putting them with lanyards into shoeboxes for OCC and they work great.

Ok for me the kids not being able to make them work was kind of a bonus as all the adults could and we gave them out at a crowded emergency event. But in an emergency kids need one that makes noise. They are easy for me to use and having on a key chain was a good place to have it. It is not super loud. But if you are looking for someone who was lost and blowing it... I think you would hear it.

These whistles are nice to look at. Smaller than I realized. Quite loud. I purchased them to go into Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and, while small, they can be used for sports or safety, as needed. A good deal for the money.

The picture displays mix of colors, and the ad says: "You will receive 100 pieces mix colored Aluminum Whistles". The ad also mention: survival, camping, hiking, etc. As I was having a kids party, I thought this would be both fun and useful for kids. Not so!Pros:- Small and lightweight.- Low price (it was $22 for the 100 whistles).Cons:- I did not get "mix colored whistles"! They were all silver! Not a single one with a different color.- They are not loud enough for the advertised purposes! When blowing harder, they don't produce any sound!I did not count them, but they looked a lot. I wouldn't complain if a few were missing IF they were in those beautiful colors and produced loud sound.
