Best tetherball we have tried. Tried two others that were supposed to be soft but not really. Not sure about durability. Keeping it covered with an old cushion cover when not in use to try to keep it from cracking.

This is a great tetherball for kids. It is soft for the hands, and if it hits you, it does not hurt as bad as a regular ball.

This tetherball is great for children who are just learning how to play. It is colorful and has a very soft, bumpy texture, so it feels great and is easy to catch and hit. Plus the way the rope is attached to the ball is also great. Unsure about the longevity of the product, as it was recently purchased.

Has survived a whole semester of moderate to heavy abuse during recess 2 times a day from grades K-5th and other than being a bit dirty, barely shows any wear or tear.

Good quality tetherball. Nice and soft for when the little kids get hit when it's moving too fast.

My dog has been chasing, swinging and dragging this ball around for weeks and its not yet showing signs of breaking. I was a little leery when I saw it had a canvas strap glued on instead of a metal clip and ring for the rope like other tether balls I've gotten but it seems to be lasting. The grippy texture is nice for mouthing but he's not one to bite and pop a ball so don't get this if your dog does that.

This is the second Fun Gripper tetherball we purchased. The first one lasted 2 years and on the third year of leaving it outside year round it has gotten to hard 2 play with. I really like the strap vs. the recessed metal hook to secure ball to rope. We don't hurt our hands nearly as much. We liked the Tachikara Fireball but after you catch that metal hook a few times you might try this one. Great for kids of most ages with supervision.
